Lebo Mapetla
Lebo Zukiswa Mapetla is a proud Pan African and a seasoned entrepreneur and business woman. She has worked in and across several countries on the African continent, including her home country of South Africa, South Sudan, Tanzania, Uganda, Senegal, Lesotho, Ghana and Botswana.
Lebo is the CEO of Machabeng Global Solutions; an immigration services and legal immigration advisory company.
The company provides immigration solutions to its clients including, amongst others, the application of study, business and work visas, SAQA qualification accreditations, permanent residence visas, South African birth certificates, passports and citizenship. In addition, the company provides legal immigration advisory services, and acts on behalf of and represents its clients to the Department of Home Affairs, as well as in South African courts, on immigration related matters. The company boasts seasoned immigration lawyers, some of whom are former employees of the South African Department of Home Affairs.
Prior to establishing Machabeng Global Solutions, Lebo founded, grew and managed her own Management Consulting company from 2006 to 2018. The company focused on finding investment destination countries in Africa, on behalf of its clients. These clients were from a multiplicity of sectors such as in cement, construction, oil and gas engineering, asset management, pension fund administration and waste water treatment. The companyās services included market analysis, market-entry and business development strategies, sectoral licensing registrations and compliance with in-country regulatory and local content legislation, as well as finding local partners and engaging in stakeholder management on behalf of its clients. Lebo is thus well-versed with both investment and immigration legislation, requirements, bottlenecks and challenges, in many African countries, and especially, South Africa.
She holds a BA International Relations and Psychology Degree from Wits University, South Africa. She is an E MBA Candidate with IESE Business School in Navarra, Spain. Lebo sits on the board of, and is the chairperson of EasyETFs, a subsidiary company of The Purple Group: a listed company on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange.

“As CEO of Machabeng Global Solutions (Pty) Ltd ā a legal immigration advisory and visa services firm based in Johannesburg ā I lead a team of immigration specialists and experienced immigration lawyers, including former officials of the South African Department of Home Affairs, to deliver trusted, end-to-end immigration solutions. Our services span South Africa visa applications, work permits, critical skills visas, business visas, permanent residency, citizenship applications, SAQA evaluations and full Department of Home Affairs representation ā for individuals, families and multinational corporates operating across Africa.
My path to immigration advisory was shaped by over a decade of pan-African business experience. From 2006 to 2018, I founded and led a management consulting firm that identified investment destinations across Africa for clients in sectors including cement, construction, oil and gas engineering, asset management, pension fund administration and wastewater treatment. That work gave me deep expertise in African investment legislation, local content regulations, market-entry strategy and cross-border compliance ā the same complexity our immigration clients navigate today.
I have worked across Botswana, Ghana, Lesotho, Mozambique, Senegal, South Africa, South Sudan, Tanzania and Uganda ā giving me firsthand understanding of Africa’s extraordinary diversity, its varied regulatory environments and the real-world immigration and investment challenges that individuals and businesses face when crossing borders on the continent.”
Beyond immigration
“Beyond immigration, I serve as Non-Executive Chairperson of EasyETFs ā a subsidiary of The Purple Group Ltd, listed on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange (JSE) ā where I provide strategic oversight and governance to a fast-growing fintech and investment platform democratising access to Exchange-Traded Funds across South Africa.
I am also a Board Member of the Mzansi Ballet Foundation, South Africa.
I am passionate about African economic integration, immigration compliance, women in leadership and building institutions that outlast their founders.

Daniel Timana
Daniel Timana is a dynamic and results-driven entrepreneur with a strong background in logistics, event management, and consulting. As the strategic partner for Mozambique at Machabeng Global Solutions, Daniel plays a key role in expanding the companyās presence and ensuring seamless business operations in the region.
With extensive experience in logistics, Daniel has held leadership positions such as Logistics Manager at Europcar and Business Week Magazine in Mozambique. His expertise extends to SME development, where he serves as the President for International Cooperation in SADC for APME (AssociaĆ§Ć£o de Pequenas e MĆ©dias Empresas), representing and advocating for small and medium-sized enterprises across the region.
In addition, Daniel is deeply involved in global health initiatives as the President (Mozambique Office) at CICC/ICACāInternational Coalition Against Coronavirus and Other Pandemic Diseases. His commitment to economic growth and public health underscores his strategic approach to business and community development.
Danielās academic background includes studies in Law and Hotel Management, along with diplomas from the Technical School of Visual Arts, Weaving, and Design, as well as the Technical School of Data Processing Hardware and Software in Mozambique.

Neo is an Immigration Specialist at Machabeng Global Solutions (Rosebank).Ā She manages client engagements with government authorities, including the Department of Home Affairs, assesses eligibility across various visa categories, identifies risks and advises on immigration strategies and required work authorisations. She collaborates with legal teams to prepare compliant applications in line with the South African Immigration Act and maintains accurate records while supporting office operations.
Prior to this, Neo served for over five years (February 2020 ā June 2025) as a Visa Customer Liaison Officer at Tls Contact South Africa (Centurion), supporting the German and Belgian Embassies.
